The Idea & Challenge
Developing a novel perspective paradigm—the Extended Perspective System—to explore new ways of viewing and manipulating architectural 3D computer models beyond traditional linear perspective.
Role & Technical Scope
Research developer in C++ and Qt Framework for FCT, FCUL, and FAUTL. Implemented the 3D model visualizer prototype showcased at the Museum of Natural History and Science, and co-authored two peer-reviewed papers.
Outcome & Learning
Developed a novel 3D perspective visualizer prototype for FCT, FCUL, and FAUTL, exhibited at the Museum of Natural History and Science and published in two peer-reviewed papers.
- Extended Perspective System: Implemented a new mathematical perspective paradigm in C++ and the Qt Framework for FCT, FCUL, and FAUTL to visualize complex 3D architectural models.
- Museum Exhibition & Papers: Prototype showcased at Lisbon's Museum of Natural History and Science (Formas & Fórmulas exhibition) and co-authored two peer-reviewed conference papers (CAAD Futures 2013 in Shanghai and Interação 2013).
